Rabble Rousers Giveaway

This month’s iMake giveaway is brought to you by a fabulous knitwear designer called Hunter Hammersen.  Her book, Rabble Rousers: What to Knit When You’re up to No Good, includes 7 gorgeous accessory patterns (2 hats, 2 cowls and 3 mitts).  Each project can be knitted using one skein of yarn or less, making them perfect for stash-busting.  The book is available in hard copy and as an ebook.  If you purchase the hard copy you get the ebook free (brilliant idea!)

Rabble Rousers is aimed at people who sometimes struggle to find the time to knit, so the patterns are small but satisfying.  This is probably why  the book appeals to me so much.  I like all 7 of the patterns and don’t know which one to knit first.

What do I win?

There are 2 opportunities to win.  The winner will receive a hard copy of the book as well as an electronic copy.  I also have an additional electronic copy of the book to give away to a runner up.

How do I enter?

  1. Hop over to the Rabble Rousers website to have a look at the patterns included in the book.
  2. Then leave a comment on this blog post explaining which pattern is your favourite (please specify the name of the pattern – they are very clear on the website).

This giveaway closes at the end of September 2012 and winners will be selected at random.  Winners will be notified by email so please ensure that you include your email address when you leave a comment.  If you are lucky enough to win, I will request your Ravelry names for the ebook when I contact you (no need to include this in your comment, unless you’d like to!)  As usual, one entry per person please.  Good luck!

  2. My favourite is Tumult – though I like them all! – a great lace project that won’t take forever and can be made with one skein. This cowl would dress up any outfit and add a touch of class.

  3. Think I like the tumult as it looks good but also interesting to knit as the pattern changes every few rows – but also the Fracas hat, which looks very comfortable and a nice fit.

  4. My favourite is Clamor! I love the chic turbans in the summer, and this is the perfect winter way to keep up the trend! Thanks for the link to the website, i can slowly feel my social life slipping away! 🙂

  5. Tumult is my favourite, although they are all very pretty patterns. Perfect for making Christmas gifts,
